Why should I choose OneMed?If you connect with any of the following reasons, OneMed is for you: Are you a working individual who doesn’t have time for traditional physician office visits? Would you prefer a hybrid model of care - telemedicine as well as office visits? Does the ability to be seen promptly appeal to you? Would you like consistent, reliable care, no matter the venue - hospital, clinic, telemedicine? Do you wish you had one main physician contact to oversee your care?

What is PRIVIA Health and how does it relate to OneMed ?Privia is a health is our new partner that help OneMed keep our focus on the most important thing that we love - caring for you ! With this relationship we no longer need to shift our focus on the items which take the joy out of being a physician or a provider. They provide our existing platform with additional resources that power it to we be at our full potential to take care of our community. We are still independent but now have other avenues to direct things we aren't well versed in such as billing , contracting with insurance companies, etc. Privia and OneMed share similar visions - we don't want to be a volume based care organization but rather value based care - where best outcomes are had. This style of practice is truly representative of the grass roots of medicine.

What makes your practice different than others? We have two tracks in our practice to accommodate your needs. While we do not mandate you choose our membership track, this allows us to keep our patient panel sizes low and offer quality personal service, including healthy/frequent communication with our doctors, either in-person, by email, text and video chat. In short, we provide you with exclusivity, personailized care, and unprecendted access. Will you charge my health plan if I opt for the membership plan ?If you do not have health insurance, we will not bill you beyond your membership plan except for items which don't fall under it such as imaging, labs, etc. As a gesture to care for all, we offer this as a solution until you're able to get insurance. At that time, we will then bill your health plan. You may opt to remain on the membership plan and take advantage of additional benefits not available on the traditional track.

Why are there two charges on my bill for an annual wellness visit and an office visit when I only had one appointment? An annual wellness visit is a comprehensive medical evaluation, which includes an age and gender appropriate history, examination, counseling and risk factor reduction interventions. It may also include the ordering of laboratory and diagnostic studies. Preventative medical visits are exempt from co-payments. Insurance carriers may or may not provide coverage for screening laboratory or diagnostic studies. If you have an annual wellness exam, and during this visit, an abnormality is encountered or a preexisting problem is addressed and/or additional work is performed i.e: labs, refills, etc, then a separate office visit code may be charged. The use of this additional code will require a copayment to be charged by your insurance plan. Still need help? Call us at 1-888-774-8428. Our hours of operation are Monday through Friday 8 am to 6 pm EST.
